Edmund von Edelweiss is a friendly, warm-hearted 14 month old German Shepherd who just wants to reach out and touch someone.  As soon as you start petting Edmund, his body instantly goes into “wag mode.”  He never strays far from your side and most of the time he even wants to touch you or lean up against you so he can keep his eye on where “his person” is.  It’s very endearing when he places his paw on your foot as if he’s claiming you as his own.  He’s so polite when it comes to giving thanks as well.  After a good old fashioned body rub, something he seems to quite enjoy, Edmund will kiss your hand and place a gentle kiss on your face as a sign of gratitude.  He truly wants to please whenever he can but he also wants to be your protector, so if other dogs are around he will try to bark at them to let them know that he’s watching out for you, but all you have to do is give him a simple correction and he will stop.  He walks great on leash and does not pull and takes treats easily from your hand.  When it comes to Edmund, we’re not sure who will get attached quicker, you or him, so come meet him and find out!
